Kimi is the first dog I've owned in adulthood. She was from a very high kill shelter.  Shelter pics when she was 8 weeks old. She's still a fairly timid animal.  First getting her home.  Learning how to be a playful puppy. |

Lots of trips and socializing. Worked great with people. She's been deathly afraid of dogs since I got her.  Walking around the fort.  Out in the riverside.  Cabin trip. |

She's so cute! Do you have any guesses as to what breed she is? She's a pretty good ringer for a Carolina Dog. Just a little thin since she was fixed so early by the shelters. Either way, just a very naturalized mix breed. |

I started fostering found cats when I got her in 2012. So she's also my foster cat champion. She likes cats a million times better than dogs. Except the individual dogs she loves, maybe.  Still a chicken.  Guardian of the cat pile.  |

What a pretty dog! Kind of has the pariah dog look about her :~) She does! The Carolina Dog is a bit of a pariah dog. Her more natural look was a big part of why we adopted her, not gonna lie.  |
