I set up a bioactive enclosure in a 40b for my lil gopher snake a couple months ago. so far it has a bag of play sand, two buckets of outdoor "live" soil, a lot of leaf litter, some grass from outside, a couple of palm fronds, and some sticks. I have a couple more wood pieces I'd like to put in along with two bags of excavator clay, but I haven't had the time to gut what it is right now (but I'd like to do it soon!). I also need to add plants along with a nice light (looking at some led strips) with 6500k color temp (for, ya know, plant growth). here are some pics as to what it looks like right now (well, when I first made it). again, it's in progress, and I'll post the progress here! and the lucky inhabitant! thanks for looking! I'm really hoping to gut it and at least add the wood pieces and excavator clay this week or next, but I'm going to have to see about working around my classes and work schedule. but I'll post updates (and hopefully get better pictures...).
