Aaah the gopher snake has some beautiful colors. I'm not too familiar with them, though. The crestie you just won in an auction is super cool.
I've always thought carpet pythons were pretty cool. They get rather large, though not overwhelmingly so, am I correct?

thanks guys! @cass it depends! as with most snakes (boas are a good example I feel), a conservative feeding schedule will keep the snake thin (but not too thin, just "not fat") and muscular (given exercise and enrichment). if you only feed your sub adult carpet every two or three weeks, they won't get too large. sparrow is about 4 feet long right now and being fed every other week. I don't know his age, but he should get to about 6-7 feet.

Ahhh I love your Gopher snake! The colors are just stunning.
I'd love to get a carpet some day as well. They are stunning too.
I like the larger snake species. I'm not sure why, I've just always liked them more.
