I love taking photos of my geck children like they're little lizard superstars. THE SNOWSEira aka "Blender" Super snow het eclipse (pos low expression "total eclipse") Loves to climb things and squiggle. Is the most photogenic gecko you'll ever see. Rigel aka "the frat boy" Super snow het murphy patternless and eclipse ("diorite") Loves to hide under stuff like a creeper. Can't aim if his life depended on it. Manages to fling more mealworms than he eats. Has had his cocofiber confiscated due to his filthy ways. Alhena Super Snow Murphy Patternless ("Super Platinum") A squiggle watcher. Also enjoys some climbing and some hiding. Demands super worms as tribute.

Mars aka "Orange Juice" Tremper albino het eclipse ("Extreme Emerine") Wishes he was a sandfish. Can be found most times under paper towels, digging like he means it. Has a nose like a bloodhound for his wax worm demands. Mira Tremper Albino pos het eclipse (sold as reverse stripe RAPTOR, but eyes faded.) Also watches things like a people. A very cautious people who would rather do without grubby fingers. But climbing shirts is a'ok. Demands superworm compensation for her troubles. BOLDSTahlia Bold Stripe The queen of the house. Tail waves at all threats and keeps a sentry eye from her tank. Dogs, feet, bits of lint. All will obey her boldness.

I adore that picture of Alhena! And your W&Y RAPTOR is GORGEOUS! I can't wait for my new W&Y to get here next week, I've been dying to work with that gene. :0 Just be careful of the bloodlines you get from, as some of them can carry neurological issues. A lot is still up in the air about these guys, but this girl is great with an awesome personality. They're hard to take pics of, wash out so easy! I'm very interested to work with it, too. Can't wait to see yours! The gene makes them change so much! Here are pics of when she was younger compared to now.

Morgan - I saw that auction! Congrats!
I was actually just talking with the guy who runs Suburban Geckos about this last night. I don't think it's widespread like ES is. There are some bloodlines that have neurological problems within the genetics. This is why there are still people trying to breed Enigmas to separate it from the neurological issues. These people of course are going on the theory that the neurological problems are not inherent in the allele mutation that is enigma.
For WY, it's been around in Europe for quite a while, and doesn't seem to have it as universally. So my guess at the moment is that certain bloodlines did have some neurological issues and quite a few people were working with decedents from them. Suburban Geckos said that they did have a lot of issues with neuro issues last year, but have gotten entirely new WY bloodlines and haven't had a single issue this year.
Definitely hoping I don't have any of that pop up, or I might end up having to swear off W&Y.

It's still being explored. But to my knowledge for W&Y it's looking more like a bloodline thing than directly coming from the gene. I wish people would talk about it more. Hard to look at the broad picture when I think some of the breeders who have been having issues have been keeping it kind of hush hush.

MISS TURDPANTS
She's ~2 years old now, and 65 grams last I weighed. Plain and simple murphy pat. She was initially an adoptee and had some rough times as a youngster. Oh well, purple tail! Pardon the bleh photos, I notice she's a much more vibrant yellow when there's foods. Not the biggest fan of being grabbed, but calms down when stable in some cozy warm hands. Is also IMPOSSIBLY lazy when it comes to catching moving foods. I use tongs a lot. YOU GUYS HAVE SUCH BEAUTIFUL BABS. I do plan on collecting more in my future, and have an eye for anything patternless, really :'0 I love blotches of colors or solids.
