I was born and raised in north central florida, also attending UF.  I too am not fond of the weather. the weather this past week started FANTASTIC (like maybe 80 for a high, maybe up to 85) but ended horrendous. tonight there's a blood moon + a giant moon, so try to get outside around 9:30 and check it out if it's not so DANG CLOUDY. Ooh thanks for letting me know! I always miss the cool moons. Though I do see a ton of moon halos |

I was hoping to be able to see the supermoon lunar eclipse, but it doesn't look like I'LL BE ABLE TOO (mean clouds!)
I live in about the middle of FL on the west coast.
I hate the heat and humidity here but I love the wildlife.
I've considered moving to a few different places but nothing for sure yet.

I was born and raised in NewJersey, so I really don't like the lack of seasons+ the humidity. It really is a huge change even though I've been here for 10ish years.
The weather last night was AMAZING. Me and the Bf went out for a walk and it was very mild weather and it smelled super nice because it had rained the other night. It is SUPER cloudy today and rainy looking. Urg. But I did find out there is a dogpark nearby! (About 13 minute car drive) I'm so excited at the idea of bringing the dogs there sometime!

The weather here in Tampa is so odd today. It's cloudy and looks like it's going to rain but it's not as humid as usual.
Born here but did a ton of moving around. I live in North Dakota and I love the heat! It's much to cold elsewhere haha.

North Florida and it's raining up here, too. I guess at least it's not a sunny super clear day to rub some burn into the lack of moon last night.

I meet a lot of people from Orlando too. I'm in Volusia county. It's raining here right now, too. Also I set up my wildlife camera last night!! Sadly all I got was pics of my taking my dogs out LOL but I'm hoping someday I'll get a glimpse of that elusive otter!!

Normally it's all Orlando or even further. If you can go to any local Expo's though you might be able to find more people. There are expos here somewhat often. Great place to meet local people. |

   Took a long walk in the pouring rain with my pup today, she had a blast hanging outside of publix and the bank with me while the bf did bank stuff and got us lunch. Its cooling down enough I felt safe taking her on a two mile walk up. Couldn't bring the pug. It would have been too hard on her. The weather is nice today, not too warm but very muggy. Sadly we don't have a car so expos I can't really attend.  I don't have any reptiles. I like looking at the cuties but I prefer dogs/cats. I enjoy constant companionship. So I don't do well with pets I have to cage all the time. |

I don't have any reptiles. I like looking at the cuties but I prefer dogs/cats. I enjoy constant companionship. So I don't do well with pets I have to cage all the time.
